Ryth Reader is an offline bible app. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

What the app does

• Reads scripture through your camera using on device text recognition
• Runs the text through a local cipher and interpreter to produce a phrase and explanation
• Keeps track of your daily reading count and premium status on your device

What we collect

Nothing. Ryth Reader has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. The app does not connect to the internet to do its work. Camera images, readings, and chat questions are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded or sent anywhere.

Camera access

The app asks for camera permission so it can read scripture text on the page in front of you. Images are used only to recognize text in the moment and are not saved or transmitted.

Purchases

If you buy premium access, the purchase is handled by the app store you bought it from (Apple). We do not receive or store your payment details.

Children

Ryth Reader does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If anything about how the app handles data ever changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
